This evening’s opening of “Diane Novetsky: Beginner’s Mind” at the Painting Center should have been included in the Items of Interest from a couple of days ago. Diane was a founding member of the Brickbottom Artists Community in Somerville, MA and a longtime member of the Vernon Street Artists, also in Somerville.
The show is up through the 27th.
Also opening today is “Perseverance” at Berry Campbell, featuring Susan Vecsey, whom I’ve written about, and Jill Nathanson, whom I would like to. The show runs through February 3.
Feel free to add other glaring omissions in the comments.
I will be in New York next week to see these and others. If you want to connect, reach out via the usual channels.
